Content that is not accessible

The content listed below is not accessible:

  • PDF documents embedded in the website
  • Videos embedded in the website do not have audio description.
  • The colors currently used do not all achieve the required contrast with a browser zoom factor of 100 percent.
  • Individual terms from English or other foreign languages on the German version of the website. These terms may therefore be pronounced in German by the voice output.


  • It has not yet been possible to convert all the PDF documents provided into an accessible format. They will be successively adapted.
  • It has not yet been possible to provide the videos with an audio description.
  • The highlighting of individual English terms and other foreign-language terms in the German version of the TU Dortmund University website has not yet been implemented.

If you have not received a satisfactory response to accessibility-related messages or inquiries within six weeks, you can contact the Ombudsman's Office for Accessible Information Technology. It is assigned to the representative for the interests of people with disabilities in accordance with Section 11 of the North Rhine-Westphalia Equal Opportunities for Disabled Persons Act.
